Education
Dr. Kwon earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She also attended medical school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and graduated in 2014. She completed her Pediatrics Residency at The Children’s Hospital of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City from 2014 to 2017. She is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. Kwon joined the MD Pediatric Associates team in November 2024 at the Coppell location.
Why Pediatrics?
It is the greatest honor to be able to care for children and to be an advocate for their health. I love spending time getting to know each individual child and navigating the complexities of their communication, growth, and development. Children keep you on your toes, and it goes without saying that they are just so fun and interesting! Kids are strong and resilient, and it is so rewarding to cultivate that and to be a resource to families as their child grows up. I have wanted to be a pediatrician since I was in elementary school, and I cannot imagine doing anything else!
Fun Facts
Dr. Kwon grew up in Alabama, but Texas has become her home with her husband and two children. She loves to travel and has been to multiple countries around the world. She enjoys spending time with her family, organizing, hiking, snowboarding, and crafting the perfect travel itinerary.
