Are You New Here?
Welcome to MDPA, your Patient-Centered Medical Home. We look forward to serving your family!New Patients
Welcoming a new baby into your family is a joyful event, and the physicians and care team at MD Pediatric Associates look forward to supporting your family and your newborn at every stage.
As an expectant family, you have a multitude of decisions to make before your baby is born, and one of the most important choices is selecting a medical home for your child. A pediatric provider plays a crucial role in your child’s life, providing medical care, guidance, and support from infancy through young adulthood. To obtain the best care for your new little one, your family may consider several factors when choosing a pediatrician.
To ensure comprehensive care for your new baby as soon as he or she arrives, we’d love is to establish a relationship with your family before your baby is born. We invite you to come in for a courtesy interview with one of our providers, so that you can feel confident in making the best choice for your child’s pediatric care and have one less worry on the big day.
Accessibility and availability are key factors when choosing a pediatric office. New parents often have numerous questions and concerns, and having a pediatrician who is easily accessible can provide peace of mind. Parents should inquire about office hours, availability for urgent appointments, and after-hours availability for emergencies. At MDPA, we have extended office hours daily, from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, in both our Coppell and our Flower Mound office. We offer same-day appointments for illness, which is especially helpful during cold and flu season, or any time your baby needs us. You can call us or send us a portal message if you have concerns, and our on-site phone nurse is available for your questions during business hours. After hours, call our phone number 972-420-1475 and you can speak to a pediatric nurse from Children’s Health in Dallas who will help you determine the best care for your child’s needs, whether that’s going to an urgent care facility or waiting until morning to give us a call.
We wish you a safe and happy journey with the addition to your family, and would be pleased to serve as your baby’s new medical home.
