Having a new baby can be both exciting and overwhelming. New parents receive well-meaning advice from many sources. Did you know your newborn may eat 8 to 10 times daily? We recommend keeping a poop/pee/feed log during the early days. There is a second recommended Newborn Screen, drawn at the birth hospital.
Twins and higher-order multiples bring multiple blessings, but some children of multiple birth can also face unique health challenges. MD Pediatric Associates specializes in addressing these children’s healthcare needs, giving them the best possible start in life.
With deep experience addressing complications arising from multiple birth – such as low birth weight, prematurity, developmental delays, and long-term disability – our practitioners provide exceptional care for these at-risk patients. At the same time, they provide the tools and support that parents need to cope with the social, emotional, and other concerns that can go hand-in-hand with caring for multiple children and their special needs.
